Planning Commission: Results of August 14, 2017, Public Hearing
Amended Application No. 1 from Roy Main to vacate an alley between the 1900 block of Patterson Avenue, S.W., and Chapman Ave, S.W., extending 100 feet in an easterly direction from the alley's intersection with 20th Street, S.W., along the entire southern border of Official Tax Map No. 1313501 and the entire northern border of Official Tax Map No. 1313510 -- Planning Commission recommended approval as amended at Planning Commission public hearing, 5-0.
Amended Application No. 1 by Bradley and Angela Yarbrough to rezone the property located at 642 Walnut Avenue, S.E., bearing Official Tax Map No. 4041134, from R-5, Residential Single-Family District, to R-12, Residential Single-Family District -- Planning Commission recommended approval, 5-0.
Motion to schedule a public hearing for October 9, 2017, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, to consider proposed amendment to Vision 2001-2020, the City's comprehensive plan, to replace the Outlook Roanoke Update adopted in 2002 with the updated Downtown Plan 2017 -- Planning Commission approved, 5-0.
City Council will hold public hearings on the aforesaid applications on Monday, August 21, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon as the matter may be heard.
